Ailoo Officially Licensed by Saudi Arabia's TGA
We are proud to announce that Ailoo has officially received its license from the Transport General Authority (TGA) of Saudi Arabia — the regulatory body overseeing all transportation services across the Kingdom. This milestone authorizes Ailoo to legally operate its ride-hailing platform in Saudi Arabia and marks the beginning of a new era for fair, transparent, and driver-first mobility in the region.
Launching July 2026
Ailoo is set to officially launch its ride-hailing services across Saudi Arabia in July 2026. Starting in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam — Saudi Arabia's three largest cities — the platform will rapidly expand to 15+ cities in alignment with Vision 2030's transportation objectives.
What Makes Ailoo Different
Ailoo is not just another ride-hailing app. It is built from the ground up with a fundamentally different model:
- 0% Commission — Drivers keep 100% of every fare. No cuts, no deductions.
- No Surge Pricing — Flat, predictable fares even during peak hours, events, or bad weather.
- AI-Powered Routing — Six AI models work in real time to optimize routes, match drivers, forecast ETAs, and detect anomalies.
- Daily Commute Subscriptions — Set your route once. Your driver shows up automatically every morning and evening.
- Arabic & English — Fully localized for Saudi riders and drivers, with a complete right-to-left Arabic interface.
- Cash or Card — No forced wallet top-ups. Pay in-app, by card, or cash on delivery.
The TGA License — What It Means
The Transport General Authority is the government body responsible for regulating and licensing transportation activities across Saudi Arabia. Receiving this license means Ailoo has met all legal, operational, and safety requirements set by the Kingdom — including driver verification standards, vehicle requirements, insurance compliance, and data privacy regulations.
This is not just a regulatory tick-box. It is a commitment to operating transparently, safely, and in full alignment with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 — which places mobility, technology, and economic empowerment at its core.
For Riders
Saudi riders will soon be able to book an Ailoo taxi in seconds, track their driver live, and pay by app or cash — all at fares 15–25% lower than existing platforms. First-time riders receive SAR 20 cashback on their first ride. No subscription required to get started.
For Drivers
Ailoo drivers keep every single riyal they earn. With zero commission, a driver completing 20 rides a day at SAR 30 average fare earns SAR 600 — compared to SAR 450 on a 25% commission platform. That is an extra SAR 4,500 per month, kept in full.
Additionally, daily commute contracts provide guaranteed morning and evening income — eliminating the uncertainty of on-demand driving.
Supported by Leading Technology Partners
Ailoo's platform is powered by a world-class technology stack, supported by OpenAI, Anthropic, DigitalOcean, Alibaba Cloud, and ElevenLabs — ensuring enterprise-grade reliability, security, and AI performance from day one.
